USS Lawrence County (LST887) Year 2001 Reunion Portland, OR. The
2001 reunion, Sept. 14, 15, & 16 was greatly impacted by the terrorist
attacks on Sept. 11. Of 50 or 60 expected only a handful were able to
make it due to the grounding of aircraft. Those who attended enjoyed
the company of friends even in that chaotic time. |
